Bring your kayak, canoe, paddleboard, rowboat, sailboat—or any non-motorized watercraft—and transform it into a floating work of art. Decorate with LED lights, glow sticks, light-up costumes, or anything that sparkles. The more creative, the better! Participants are invited to gather beginning at 8:00 PM near the gazebo at Island Beach (or just offshore if you prefer to stay on the water). As twilight fades, we’ll launch the parade at 8:15 PM, when the sky is dark enough for everyone’s lights to truly shine. The parade will follow a circular course around the lake using the lighted buoys to guide the way. Whether you create an elegant display of twinkling lights or go all out with a colorful glowing masterpiece, this event is all about celebrating creativity and enjoying a magical summer night together. The parade is expected to last 30–60 minutes, depending on the number of participants and the pace of the different watercraft. Come paddle, glow, and make waves with us—we can’t wait to light up the lake together!
